What to do?

Recovery cannot be approached as “one size fits all.” There can be as many stories of recovery as there are people living with addiction. Knowing where to look, what to do, what it will cost, how long it will take is difficult enough before even approaching the potential self shame or stigma of requiring help in the journey.

Coaching intensive For anyone who’s Said something like any of these statements.

“When I was in treatment I had support and structure all day and night. Now that I am out it is difficult to maintain the things I was doing.”

“There are circumstances in my life that I am fearful of because of the triggers that usually take me back to my use and my addiction.”

“My family continues to treat me like they did before I got help. It’s like they are expecting me to fail.”

“I am nearly certain I will relapse once I leave treatment.”

“The aftercare plan I have states I need to do 90 meetings in 90 days, complete an IOP program, get a sponsor, get a job, find a place to live and build up a new life.”

“I met some cool people in treatment but they live in other states. The only friendships I actually have are either the ones who’ve disowned me or the ones who participated in the same things that got me into treatment.”

“Getting vulnerable with new people is exhausting. I did all that in treatment. I don’t know where to go for that out here.”
